• there is 1 extra bay for either a 3.5" mechanical or a 2.5" SSD using an inexpensive mounting adapter. SATA 3 power/data cables incl on mBoard.

• Hi Scot, thank you for the question. HP TE01-1134 desktop hard drive can be upgraded to another SAT hard drive. It does allow the user to use the SATA hard drive.
