• A:Answer Yes, you can disable the touchscreen function. I'm not sure what you mean by "Does this laptop get hang while working?" I think it would be a really good choice for an engineering student-it's got a fast processor, plenty of RAM, and a solid-state drive with a lot of space.

Intel and AMD are two different brands for processors, and some prefer one or the other. It is similar to Ford and Chevy, both will get you from A to B and both have different models with varying performance speeds. The Ryzen 7 may be a bit better for gaming without a GPU.

• A:Answer The CPU in this model can go up to 3.90 Ghz. It only uses the base speed to save battery life when the laptop is not in heavy use. The speed will adjust automatically based on what you are using the laptop for. Also, you can set the laptop to max performance to use the full speed all the time, but this will drain the battery faster.
