• A 1TB drive = 1000gb. 40 times more storage space than a 25gb drive.

• Typically the 256Gb drives are SSD, which generally means faster IO but less memory for the price. A 1TGb HDD is roughly 4 times larger in capacity, but at a slower access speed due to mechanical motion. How much slower depends on disk RPM (larger number is faster).

• Consider $25 dollars is 25gb and 1tb is $1000. How much memory do you want?
