• It does not have alpha characters. It can be used for Real Estate test, but I would recommend the easier to use Texas Instruments BA II Plus for about the same price.

• The 10Bii and 12C do not have alpha characters. Only the Hp Prime does.

• Westiegirl, I've been using one of these for many years and have never found a way to input alpha characters so I would have to conclude no. (If you give it something it can't handle, the screen says: "error," but that's it.) Since your question was posted a year and a half ago I feel this answer may be too late to matter. I hope you passed the real estate test.
