Yes you can. Here's how it works. First you need to install the Full featured HP software. You will launch HP scan. In this example let's scan a 5 page double-sided document (10 sides) . You load them in the document feeder and note in the software that you are copying 2 sided manual to a PDF. You can the 5 pages. You take the output pages and rotate them so that the side facing in to the printer is now facing out. Load them in the document feeder and continue. The software automatically reorders the pages to 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10. You can then save the PDF and compress it if you wish to make it smaller.
