“Will the 8630 allow a print job to interrupt a large scanning job to print out? Our HP 8600 plus was a workhorse and great for our office. One feature we especially liked was that while a volunteer was scanning documents in all morning, the machine would allow an incoming print job to print out. Is the 8630 similar in this way and is it a good 'workhorse' for a small nonprofit office?”

Have not tried that but it should, most machines that print and scan can do this at the same time
