“This says it has 1 2.5 expansion slot , I have added a 2nd ssd but I'm not finding this 2.5 slot is it hidden under somthing or is it really not there?”

It doesn’t have a 2.5 bay. You will need to get NVME M.2 storage. There are two on either side of the battery covered under copper heat sinks.
