You can access the battery rather easily, but it depends on your level of skill if you can replace it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The back plate is held in by like 8 Phillips head screws, and a few plastic tabs. Once inside the laptop the battery is held in by 2 screws, and has a connection to the board you'd need to detach. The whole operation would take about 4 minutes to do. So no. Its way way way too complicated for most moron users to replace. If you happen to know how to use a screwdriver though (rare skill these days) you should be fine.
