None of the models of the omen I have come across have a 4k display. I purchased a model with a qhd display which is in between fdh and 4k. Recently I came across an aero15 that matches the omen15 and has a 4k display and bestbuy was selling it for $1300. Hopefully you see this soon and haven't made a purchase yet because it's a steal. I would return the omen I bought for $1730 but it's custom from hp and they will charge a 15% shelving fee. Even if I did return it and pay the fee I would be getting money back but I'm done dealing with ho as I sent back two laptops in a row and the second which had a defective track pad took 4 days of being sent in circles, put on hold, transferred, and hung up on. After a complaint to the bbb I finally got a return initiated. Bestbuy is the way to go and avoid custom jobs unless you know exactly what you want and will be getting because you end up with a loss if you return it for reasons beyond warranty
