So, I tried to add a matching 16gb Kingston set and it would not boot. I went through the entire troubleshooting plan from HP with no luck. Swapping them for a matching 32GB set worked just fine.

I tried it but ultimately I ended up buying the same exact RAM sticks that are 16GB each to replace the stock 8x2 on slots 2 and 4. Not sure why on the spec sheet here that it does 6000 MT/s but it only goes up to 5200 MT/s on default as Ryzen 7 8700F only supports up to 5200 MT/s by deafult. Otherwise, you can enable 6000 MT/s via BIOS either using the default 8x2 RAM sticks or whatever you're upgrading it to (again, using the same exact brand and model of RAM sticks that it came with which in my case is a Kingston Fury Beast).
