QuestionMy CPU idles at about 65-70c out of the box. Under load of heavy gaming it goes to 75ish c… is this normal? Should I be worried about the high idle temp even though under load it doesn’t go too high?

- Answer Yes be worried having your computer at a high temperature like that often can damage your cpu.

- Answer There is not a simple answer for this. The device has a 3.8 GHz processor, which you can see that information under Specifications and then Key Specs on the Best Buy site. You can also find the information about how many cores it has under Processor in that same area from the Best Buy site. As far as the GPU is concerned, you will want to check the NVIDIA site for more information about specifics. You really want to base you systems off the requirements of the software you want to use and specifically the settings you want to run the software on.

- Answer 120, and yeah not a big fan. Barely manages to keep it cool enough but does. Not easy to change either due to proprietary components.

QuestionOn the image I only see green, pink and blue audio ports. Green-audio out, pink-mic, blue-input. The specs say it supports 5.1, but it has no orange-sub or black-rear ports, how can 5.1 speakers be supported?

- Answer The motherboard would support 5.1 surround sound, but because it doesn't have the necessary jacks, you'd need to add a card with the jacks to get surround sound.

- Answer Many of the Logitech controllers are cheaper, but you will have to look at the ones you like and might have to feel it in person to find if it is comfortable for you. Then look at the developer site to find the requirements and see if it will work with the computer or device you want to use it on. The XBOX controllers have the advantage of being designed to work with Windows. Other controllers will work but might require more updates and special drivers.

- Answer Something like this is going to be mostly opinion based. If you look at the system requirements for the applications you wish to use, that would be your best bet. If this is higher than the recommended spec wise, you should be fine even after future updates that can affect the performance and settings of the apps. It will depend mostly on what you want to do and the settings you are looking for.

- Answer Other than making sure that the fans and radiator don't get too dust covered (I clean mine once a year and I live in a dusty location) there is no other maintenance required.
