Questionis the 6gb of ram upgradeable to 16gb????

- Answer Not without removing the whole bottom to access the 2 DIMM slots, M.2. wifi, and HDD. I upgraded mine to 16GB of PC1866 Crucial along with a Samsung EVO 850 500GB SSD. Note that the wifi card is M.2 size and only has 1 antennae routed to the top lid. The computer is quite fast with the above configuration. Only wish it had a discrete graphics but HD5500 is not bad.

- Answer I do not know about a keyboard, but I attached a wireless mouse easily and it works great. The mouse I purchased is Microsoft.

- Answer It absolutely does, albeit in a very inconvenient spot (under the USB ports, have to lift the laptop to even see the card reader). The Slot is standard SD size, so if you have micro/mini SD you'll likely need the adapter

- Answer If it's parked? Sure. He won't do any high-resolution gaming on it but it is great at everything else, and it's FAST. A 17" laptop is NOT very portable, however, an I woul imagine battery life on these big-screen models is a couple hours, tops, in the long run.

- Answer I don't think so, I've had it for about a month now and I only recently wiped it down but not for fingerprints, just because I was dusty. I think it actually hides fingerprints and smudges well.

QuestionCan't get the touchpad to stay how I set it!Touchpad zooms in and out while I'm trying to work. I went into settings and turned the zoom feature off.. Pushed apply & OK, but every time I turn it off it goes back to default and I have to do it again at startup. HELP PLS!
