is the 6gb of ram upgradeable to 16gb???? null

Not without removing the whole bottom to access the 2 DIMM slots, M.2. wifi, and HDD. I upgraded mine to 16GB of PC1866 Crucial along with a Samsung EVO 850 500GB SSD. Note that the wifi card is M.2 size and only has 1 antennae routed to the top lid. The computer is quite fast with the above configuration. Only wish it had a discrete graphics but HD5500 is not bad.

No, unfortunately not. You would have to purchase a brand new device with the higher ram
