• Yes. It runs games very well, and is portable enough to be used at school.

• This computer would be excellent for schoolwork, but, not so much for gaming. If you are looking for gaming computers, I recommend viewing CyberPower Gaming Computers. I have two desktops for gaming provided by CyberPower, and they have turned out amazing, exceeding my expectations. I have never owned a CyberPower Laptop, so I can only give a review of the desktops.

• It's ok for school. Gaming, not so much, unless it's just DOTA, LoL, or some other older game.

• Good for gaming? No, this will run some small apps in the Windows App Store, but don't expect to run any console style games within the last 10 years with decent frame rates. As far as using this for school, it will more than suit your needs. Gaming laptops cost a lot and they are generally not worth because they are noisy, run hot, and generally have low battery life.
