The size of the screen is great. User friendly. The battery life could be better. I use it for school, an online university. For the cost it's definitely a solid purchase.

...but at far less than half the price, you get one powerful machine ! First, a word about my usage: I'm an old guy and gaming doesn't interest me. I wanted a machine that was faster than what I had been using running (Windows XP and Vista running on an abacus), for 2 small businesses my wife and I run. I also wanted something that was fast enough for my home recording studio with lots of storage space. I have not had time to use the studio application yet but this is one fast and powerful machine. I have had NO problems with W.10 on this beauty...Wow! A windows OS with no problems ?!! Who-da Thunk. My only issue is the 'plasticky' feel of the unit. I wish it were sturdier but at the price point, who cares! My sons say this is great for gaming on a budget. Good Graphics, sound, in-outs, W.10, free anti virus, geek squad ( I have yet to need). I really like it.

Plenty of memory, adequate speed, nice optical drive. I like the large screen but the unit lacks a few features that my old HP Envy had, like touch screen (which is no big deal) and no simple way to disable the touch pad (which is extremely annoying). All in all a good computer at a reasonable price.

We had been looking for a new laptop for quite a while, but had not been able to find one with a large screen like our other one. After asking a couple computer geek friends they recommended HP. We were happy to find that HP just came out with this model. It has plenty of hard drive and RAM for the average person and is fairly fast. It is a real bargain for the money. We are very happy with it.

I have had this computer for about six weeks and am very happy with the amount of computer I got for the money... speed, RAM, and harddrive. I am not a gamer, but I do some number-crunching programming and other technical work as a hobby and I am happy with that. The only quirk was that the touchpad has no physical right-click button (left-click is the default), my son showed me that you actually press the lower right corner of the touchpad, pause, and release. It came with McAfee and Office trials installed, but I installed the versions that came with my family subscriptions (McAfee Security Center and Office 365) so those were essentially 'free'. My only regret is that I didn't replace my older machine with something like this sooner.

The product works well, accomplishes all work and study needs. The camera isnt too great, but that's just a minor flaw of the product. The product runs efficently and I have had no problems with it thus far. The greatest obstacle of this product would be its weight and size, but it does run dvd roms so the extra size was neccesary for this product feature. What I liked most about it was the memory space and hard drive capacity.

I got this computer to be able to use for business and personal, so far I have been very pleased. it has decent battery life. I specifically wanted the larger screen, but the down fall is that it doesn't fit in my computer bag. It has plenty of storage and is fast for what I use it for. I have had to get used to working with Windows 10. The best part was the price!

Large screen which I don't mind since I don't plan on moving it around much. Lots of RAM, plenty powerful enough for my needs (programming, database and office work)

Love the 17,3 screen size and the high quality imaging it provides. Computer is fast and runs the applications I use quite well except that Windows 10 has been made to be incompatible with Chrome...shame on you Microsoft. Great storage, and good battery life...usually 5 hours of run time between charges and that is with about an hour left.

I bought this laptop as a birthday gift for my mother. The big screen and DVD drive were nice for her, but the track pad was not in good taste. I would recommend getting a USB mouse to use with this laptop as the track pad sometimes ended up getting stuck while in use. Also, try using an alternative software for anti-virus such as AVG or just Windows Defender is okay as the McAfee software tends to slow down the computer quite a bit. Otherwise, this laptop is decent for the performance and price. Just make sure to protect it as the screen is very big.

Met our requirements for memory, hard drive size, processor, screen size without breaking the budget. Even has a DVD/RW drive! Easy to setup! Can't go wrong if you're looking for a laptop for your home office or for back-to-school on a budget.

I love the large screen and everything else about the laptop except the mouse. The built in pad doesn't respond real well but adding a USB mouse works well. It is faster than I was expecting for the price.

This laptop has a screen that goes on and on. The computer itself is fast and has an optical drive. Good for day to day business activities as well as big enough to watch a movie on. While it's not as fast as a gaming computer and lacks a touch screen the performance and screen size make it a good buy.

I like this computer very much. The screen is big and very user friendly. The only thing I do not like is that it does not have the scroll bar on the mouse pad.

Always Loved HP computers. This one is nice one. Missing the touch screen though. Screen is nice and big and the computer is fast.

Great computer for the money. Great streaming videos and movies on this giant screen. Fast and furious. Great storage, great speed, and I'm very happy with my purchase and purchase price. Only challenge was finding a big enough case for this laptop.
