“Hi, considering buying this computer but would like to upgrade the RAM and also add a 2nd HD. Can someone recommend compatible RAM that is a good value? Also, it seems like only a SATA HD can be added - does anyone have any suggestions for this as well?”

There are two slots for memory (RAM). 32GB (2 x 16GB DDR4) is the maximum memory allowed. It comes with the 8GB memory (Samsung, Model # M378A1K43DB2-CTD). I added the Samsung 16GB memory (model # M378A2K43CB1-CTD). Now my new HP TP01-0034 computer is lighting fast with the i7 CPU and 24GB memory. Adding the extra memory was very easy. It is also easy to install an internal hard drive. I installed the Western Digital 2TB Black internal hard drive (model # WD2003FZEX) in mine.
