There are two slots for memory (RAM). 32GB (2 x 16GB) is the maximum memory allowed. It comes with the 8GB memory (Samsung, Model # M378A1K43DB2-CTD). I added the Samsung 16GB memory (model # M378A2K43CB1-CTD). Now my new HP TP01-0034 computer is lighting fast with the i7 CPU and 24GB memory. Adding the extra memory was very easy.
