“Where is the silver color used on this laptop? Are outer covers silver? And inside keyboard color is gold? When I look at the images provided on the website I can't see any color difference between (a) HP m3-u103dx with (b)HP m3-u003dx.”

its like a silver gold, yes on the keyboard, back,outer edges and around the trackpad. the other one says Modern Gold which I believe turns out to be a little darker than this one.
