Did you try re-installing the printer after your Yosemite install?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you have windows 8, you have to scan through your windows button on the bottome left corner of your screen. Click on the "windows" icon and then look for "scan". This is the way I have to scan my documents.

You can Scan from Apple Preview. #2. You can Scan from Apple Image Capture. #3. You can Scan from Print & Scan. Also, when it comes to updating your OS, it is also recommended to completely remove the printer, or any other connected devices for that matter, & then re-install, or add it/them back, after the OS has been updated. There may be updates for your devices as well, after they're added back to your system.
