- Answer I bought a $10 wireless USB adapter and it's been working fine for me. Without an adapter you will need an ethernet cord. As for the HDMI compatibility, it does not have an HDMI port. I got a DisplayPort (there is one on the back of the tower) to HDMI cord and can plug it into monitors and TVs with that. Both cost me about $10 each but are worth it to me as easy fixes to minor inconveniences. Hope this helped! Note: the products I suggested are similar but not the exact products I bought.

- Answer Same year windows 7 was released, which was in 2009, but mine was built in 2013, it depends For example (the picture), It's and old model the new models don't give this kind of firmware anymore and they're too expensive, it's really not worth buying a brand new computer

QuestionThe Compaq 6305 Pro Desktop as shown at the Best Buy website is in a vertical orientation with the CD RW drive vertical. Can it be run in this position, or must it be laid long side flat?

- Answer Answers saying it has to be layed flat are incorrect -- it CAN be if you want to do that, but as a "small form factor" machine it's also designed to operate in the "tower" position and the DVD drive works fine that way (just need to be sure the disk is placed correctly so it won't start to fall as the door is closing). In fact, the small vertical "footprint" is a main feature of these kinds of units...

- Answer I don't think so - the refurbished desktop I purchased did not come with a Wi-Fi card. I had to purchase separately and install myself (easy).
