Good question. This computer has a great processor (but it is dated) and lots of RAM, but may not be the best computer for editing. A computer with a newer generation Intel processor and a dedicated graphics card would be a better option for video and photo editing. This computer has a 2nd generation processor and Intel is currently on their 6th generation. I hope this helps.
