• Yes, this HP x360 is great at watching movies in HD. I tested this by connecting an external DVD drive (LG) and watching World War Z. You may want to adjust the sound, speakers are not to loud in default.

• Definitely powerful enough. The only thing is it doesn't have a drive so you would have to download it or have internet connection. FYI
