The reflective screen, as with most laptop screens, is barely viewable outdoors, even in the shade,

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It takes maybe a little over an hour when not in use.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It takes approximatelty 2-3 hrs to charge battery from 0 to 100%. However, remember batteries take much longer to charge above 80%. Normal charging from 20-80% will take a little over an hour or 1hr. & 15min. The screen is very bright, much brighter than other laptops. Even with brightness level at around 60%, its very bright. It can be used in sunlight, however you might face some difficulties reading at a lower brightness level.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've never let the battery go all the way dead but been down to about 20%. I'm not sure when it was fully charged but I know I checked it within an hour and a half and it was full. Screen brightness is fine for me outdoors in the sun. Haven't had any problems seeing the screen sitting in the sun. There might be a reflection at certain angles because the screen is glossy but you would just have to turn a little
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Unfortunately, exact battery run time and life span information is not available. Various factors, such as the temperature of the battery, the applications running on the notebook, any attached devices, the brightness of the display, and the notebook power management settings all determine the run time and life span of your battery. Also, the performance and charge times of Lithium-ion batteries decrease over time. There are suggested ways to help increase the run time and life span of your battery: - Reduce the brightness of the screen to the minimum readable level - Remove peripherals (External hard drives, CD-ROMs, Zip drives, PC cards, and other peripheral devices) when not in use; these devices can draw power from your battery even when they are not in active use - Reduce the speed of your processor - Turn off the Wireless On-Off button when it is not in use (If your notebook has one). This HP PC has a Radiance QHD Infinity LED which is still fine to use outdoors, however it doesn't not have the anti-glare which minimizes issues with reflection.
