• N-trig pens will work. I have tested it with a Surface Pro 4 pen and it worked well.

• The Spectre X360 15 in 2017 is using N-trig technology for the screen digitizer. ANY N-trig stylus works; I have tried the Surface Pen, the HP active stylus, and several others, and they all do a good job. I hear there is going to be an N-trig "universal stylus" coming out soon, that should also work with this computer.

• I was told that ONLY the pen that comes with it is compatible and it works great, but I have not tried others, so not 100% sure on that information. I have tried the MS Surface Pen and it does NOT work on it though, I can confirm that.
