• The printer doesn't use ink. I uses a technology called Zink (zero ink). The special zink paper is thermal and so the printer uses no ink.

• Hi Ma, I believe the printer paper is special because it prints the photo using heat. There is no ink that you need to buy for it. Hope this helps! Julia

• Yes the blue cardboard goes down as the first sheet. The ink is in the cardboard it will Cycle trough and load the ink
