• The photos are printed with a thermal, heat, process. No ink. Special paper required. The larger quantity purchased the less expensive.

• The HP Sprocket printers are not compatible with Instant Ink and they do not use ink, all they need is the special HP Sprocket ZINK paper.

• No ink to buy. It’s all on the paper like a Polaroid

• No ink needed, it is all in the special paper. It will not work with standard inkjet paper. Prints are about .40 each.

• It uses a special photo paper that is really inexpensive, especially in comparison to instax camera film. Would definitely recommend!
