• If you're trying to create mockups, prototypes, or physical 3-D renderings, then yes, you will need a 3-D printer. However, you can still create, manipulate, or modify projects without having to print them right away. If you are waiting for the HP 3-D printers before starting any projects, then consider one of the 3-D printers already available.

• 3D printer is not necessary to create and save projects in Sprout.

• The HP Sprout would not have to have a 3D print to print. However if you are wanting to print 3D you would have to have a printer that support it.
