• A:Answer Hi Steve. Thanks for your question. That laptop model does not support Thunderbolt 4 or video over the USB Type-C port. The USB Type-C port on that model is just for data transfer. It does not support a display.

• A:Answer Hello there! If you want to use this HP Thunderbolt Dock 120W G4 (4J0A2AA) for the Intel vPro Active Management Technology, your laptop will need to be a vPro-enabled system. However, if you are only looking to utilize the Power Delivery and DisplayPort (external monitor) features, then your HP laptop needs to have at least a Thunderbolt 4 USB-C port. • A:Answer Eric, thank you for your question on the cable length. The Best Buy site has Thunderbolt cables in the 2 meter (a little over six feet) and 3-meter ( about ten feet) lengths, but no extensions. The cables are universal, and makes sure they are Thunderbolt 4.0 before you purchase.
