• There is disagreement as to the maximum RAM that can be installed. Search Questions for more info. Soldered RAM is always designated with the name "LPDRR," which this doesn't have. Therefore, it is not soldered.

• Hello, and thank you for the question! This HP Victus has a maximum supported memory of 16 GB DDR4-3200 MHz RAM (2 x 8 GB), which is currently what this laptop has installed. This laptop cannot have further upgrades performed to its RAM based on the supported specs.
