If you are looking to purchasing just the HDM only, then yes you will need to buy both sensors and controllers. You will need two sensors if you wont it to work will and one controller will work. Note most content will play better with two controls. It is more cost effective to purchase a complete VR kit if you can. The current VIVE kit is a 2nd gen. If you purchase sensors and controls separately they are most likely going to be 1st gen. Also finding the sensors and controls online and be an issues. The tent to be out of stock a lot. Lastly, if you purchase Sensors and controller separately you will need to update the firmware which is not hard, but can have issues. I have found VIVE support to really good. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There are two ways to buy the Vive Pro. One is the headset itself, intended as an upgrade for people who already own the original Vive. That costs $799. Then there's a complete package with the sensors and controllers, that's selling for $1399. Hope that helps
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.the HTC Vive Pro does not come with anything but the great visuals and immersion, but it’s compatible with the previous semsors and controllers.
