You can Google in settings which SIM is the 4g SIM. I do it all the time when I'm in an area where 1 services signal is better than the other. To can even forward calls from one sim to another.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can assign which SIM to function on 4G from SIM manager.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thank you for your question and for choosing Huawei. In regards to your inquiry one of the sims would support 4G network and the other would support a different network. Also you can access the settings menu than select the sims option and than configuration and there it will allow you to determine which sim will be for calls and which one will be for data. Also keep in mind that when traveling to different countries your phone might not be able to access the 4G network due to multiple factors, since it will depend if the carriers of the country your going to would have coverage, and also if they support the frequencies on your device. I will leave you the link where you can check the frequencies the mate 9 is compatible with. Once again thank you for your preference, and I hope you have an excellent day. http://consumer.huawei.com/us/mobile-phones/tech-specs/mate9-us.htm
