“Connecting everything to Outlook exchange server and outlook.com mail is key for me. I want "OK Google make an appointment for..." to put the appointment in my Outlook calendar, reminders, etc. Can the Mate 9 accomplish this?”

Hello BigDave, when you pull up the email app on the Mate 9, you are able to set your Outlook email as your default email. so that when Okay Google pulls up your email in your request by default it will select your outlook calendar and email. (DM)

Yes it works seemlessly with Outlook for Exchange as well as Skype for Business (FKA: Microsoft Lync). With Outlook you can schedule appointments and meetings, add signature. Cannot set out off office message (maybe it's there but i cant find it) as you can on desktop version.
