- Answer That would depend on if your machine can handle multiple external monitors, but there's only one HDMI connector on the adapter. You would just need to use one of the thunderbolt/USB-C connections with an HDMI adapter, USB-C to HDMI cable, or USB-C/Thunderbolt-3/Thunderbolt-4 to DisplayPort cable (most newer monitors have DP) for the second monitor. First generation M1 MacBooks (Air, 13" Pro) only support one external monitor in addition to the internal display (hardware limitation). The new 14"/16" M1 MacBook Pros support multiple external monitors.

QuestionCan I run a 144hz 1080p monitor with this hub? Not expecting to get 144hz, but does this support UP TO 4k@60hz (meaning 1080p displays are compatible) or ONLY 4k displays UP TO 60hz (meaning 4k displays below 60hz are supported)

- Answer Since it only has one HDMI port, you can only hook up one HDMI display. Depending on your model of computer you can hook up more than one if they are USB-C displays. If you are on a 2020-21 MacBook with the M1 Chip, you can only hook up one additional display at a time, which is a system limitation unfortunately. A good alternative would be to try sidecar with an iPad.

QuestionI have purchased this. Anyone else having issues with the hdmi not showing a signal? When this happens at the very least I have to restart my MacBook Pro, but often this doesn’t even work. I replaced the hdmi cable with no change.

- Answer You can't use the USB-C Extension Cable to connect your hub if you want to use the HDMI port. You have to connect the hub directly to the side of the laptop so that both USB-C connectors are inserted into the side of your laptop. I'm guessing it's a current draw issue.
