• Everything says no. But. the Apple app store will only hook you up with Circle at a "free" $9.99 a month

• No, there is no monthly fee for using your ibi device. However, you ARE dependent upon the SanDisk servers being active and online. If they are not available (for whatever reason (temporary outage or service discontinuation)), then you will lose all access to your ibi data -- unless SanDisk modifies the way in which end users can access their data. Only the optional SanDisk "Do More" (ibi add-on, Cloud-based back-up service) has a subscription fee.
