Meet ibi™, the smart photo manager that collects all of your favorite photos and videos from your phone, computer, USB drives and popular cloud and social media accounts in one place at home. ibi lets you privately share individual photos or entire albums from vacations, birthday parties, weddings and more with only those you choose.
A: No. It's a backup rather than a sync, so it backs up your phone (or any other accounts you have added), but does not sync with them. If it was syncing, then when you deleted them from your phone they would be removed from the Ibi the next time it synced (or vice versa), but it doesn't sync, so delete away!
Q: Does it store videos as well as photos?
A: They were showing this on the Hallmark Channel this morning and they stated "in addition to 250,000 photos it can hold 100 hours of videos." Hope that helps!
A: Yes I have multiple folders for different videos and pics and able to label each for easy editing if necessary
A: According to the segment on Home & Family with Rick Demuro, there is no monthly fee.
Q: Can I transfer photos from an IPad to the ibi? If Yes, how would I be able to do that?
A: From the iBi specifications. "Works with iPhone or iPad (iOS 10+), Android™ (Ver 6.0+)6". If you install the iBi app on your iPad it should be a simple transfer from the iPad to the iBi via network sharing. if you have an older version iPad you may still be able to transfer it by getting a iPad cable to USB sync cable from the vast array of Apple connection cables.
Q: Does the unit have expandable memory available?
A: No, the hard drive cannot be changed, and there is not a slot for a memory card. I have two due to the size of my library, and it’s easy to switch back and forth to view photos
A: It has a 1TB hard drive for storing photos/videos. It connects to your WIFI so you can backup photos/videos from your phone or computer.
