Q: QuestionWhy do my innards look different than the ones on the box ?

• A:Answer Hello, we make sure to keep the artwork as general as possible due to small differences from each component's manufacturer/brand. As an example, this PC model uses an RTX 4070 graphics card, but the system in your box may use an MSI RTX 4070 as compared to someone else who received a PNY RTX 4070. This is because the components used vary by what iBUYPOWER has in stock at time of assembly. Rest assured you are receiving the correct components and PC that is listed online, but there may be slight differences from the brand of the component. Hope this helps!

Q: QuestionJust purchased the iBUYPOWER - Y40 Gaming Desktop - Intel Core i7 13700KF - 32GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 12GB and would like to know what is requierd to use two independent monitors? Do I need a dual graphics card?

Q: QuestionI purchased this PC 1-27-24 I regularly play Cod MW3 & WoW, I have had numerous issues with crashing, I contacted Ibuypower and RMA'd the memory well I purchased 4 16gb sticks of corsair dominator RAM,and still crashing, Kernal 41 63 is it the Mobo or PSU

• A:Answer Go into BIOS and set the RAM to auto? I didn't change the RAM so I can't say if it'll be the same but it seem so to be an issue with the BIOS itself and not the ram. It happened to me and changing to the above solved it.

Q: QuestionMine came with a MSI RTX 4070 12G Ventus 2X and the usage is extremely high at all times even while playing games at lower graphics like CS2 its always above 90%. How do i fix this

Check to see if you have the latest NVIDIA software installed in your system, then check and see which programs are using more GPU than necessary, and close any programs that you're not using. Q: QuestionI just Bought the PC but I wanna Get more storage space and More ram. What Storage should i get without having to move the graphics card and what is the Ram card that's being used so that its easier to look up and use.

• A:Answer If you don't want to install a M.2 onto your MB you will need to purchase either a 2.5 SSD or 3.5 HDD as there is housing that is specifically made for those in the case, though you will need to do some wiring on your own if you install those. As for RAM they are 16GB DDR5 5200MHZ x2. If you want the best performance thought you will need to remove one of the RAM and look at the clock speed and purchase sticks that are the same.

Q: QuestionHow many fans total are in this case? some customer pictures show the cpu radiator on the side with no fans. Then others show the cpu radiator mounted to the top with two (intake?) fans on the side. Are there fans in the bottom of the case? Thanks

• A:Answer Mine has a total of 6. One in the rear, 4 on the radiator(two rgb, two not) and one/ two underneath. I’ve noticed there are variations between purchases when ordered online. (For example different brands of components etc, different placement of things.

• A:Answer Hello, and thank you for your interest! We use brands based on availability at the time of assembly, though we use major brands for GPU's such as ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI and PNY. The exact brand/manufacturer will vary, but the model of the GPU is correct and consistent.

• A:Answer Hi there, first you need to download the BIOS software from ASUS's website. Then upon bootup, you'll need to see which button you'll need to press to access the BIOS software before it runs Windows. You can then manage fan speed in the setup.

I think these are just thrown together PC's to get sells out with what products they have on had. Not sure if some components work well with each other. Mine has completely shut down and fans would all stop. Mine freezes to the point I have to have a hard reboot on it. I have tried everything I can to fix this.

Q: QuestionWhat is the maximum amount of RAM this PC will support? I know it has 4 slots and comes with two 16G sticks already. Just wondering what the maximum is, or optimal configuration. Also, is it DDR4 or DDR5?

• A:Answer Hi there! I believe this system uses the Z790 D5 motherboard, which can support DDR5 RAM configurations. The maximum amount of RAM that can be used for this motherboard is 128GB, but usually 16GB is enough to support everyday gaming/streaming. If you use this computer for editing, rendering, etc., then maybe 32GB or higher would be a better option for you. Do note that if you plan to upgrade your RAM, please make sure you're using the exact brand and configurations, as different brands/configurations can cause technical problems later down the line.

• A:Answer Hi there! If you're talking about the amount of fans you get on your graphics card, then that will vary depending on the time of manufacturing. So you may either get a 2-fan or a 3-fan graphics card at the time of purchase. Unfortunately we can't guarantee that all prebuilt systems will have 3-fan video cards, but know that there is no significant performance difference between the two cards that will hinder your user experience.
