A:AnswerSlide the little latch and the motor end can then be detached from the clear plastic bin. Shake out the dust, etc into the trash and then you can get to the filter and it comes out with little effort. The directions that come with it show this.
A:AnswerNo beater bar or brush but it has great suction which is really what I like about it. Nothing gets tangled up and it's super easy to empty. I don't have any carpet so it works great for me on hardwoods and tile. Just a great little vac for quick cleanings.
