Q: QuestionHello, I’ve recently purchased this cooler and it has been running for a couple of days now. I've set temperate to 34 degrees but reading inside with multiple thermometers will not go below 40 degrees. Is this normal operation?

• A:Answer Great question! We’re having the same issue. We’ve just received a replacement unit and are still experiencing that. We’re using 3 thermometers (one in each shelf) and it doesn’t matter if we set it at 40, 38 or 36, it doesn’t get cooler than 40 inside. Going to call best but tomorrow to figure this out!

The user manual has more information (readily available online), but here are the parameters: If the cooler is not properly ventilated, the compressor will use more power. Make sure that you leave space on all sides: • Top: .2 in. (.5 cm) • Sides: .2 in. (.5 cm) • Back: .8 in. (2.0 cm)

• A:Answer The manual doesn’t recommend to stack. It may not be loud or vibrating but compressor is located at the bottom so stacking may be little tricky. If you have side supports, you can adjust the clearance height between two units for ventilation.
