A:AnswerWell I thought Insignia was made in the US, but it turns out it's made by Haier, produced by China, if I knew that I would have never bought it.
A:AnswerI did not see any foam. Are you referring to the little door in the back? If so, I’ve never opened it. Sorry, can’t answer since I never so the foam. I guess they removed it when they installed it.
A:AnswerYes. It can be used as a fridge or a freezer but it will die on you before you can make all the payments. Most freezer brands have extended warranties on the compressors, but Insignia doesn't. I was told by a Best Buy staff member that they don't even repair freezers under 18 cubic feet. Save your money and buy a different brand from a different store.

A:AnswerI bought the freezer Memorial Day. But have never revived it. They set delivery dates but don’t show or call. I am very disappointed with the Lubbock store.
A:AnswerI don't know the amp draw, but I'm using this as a feeezer and it's set up in my garage next to my spare fridge/freezer combo on the same circuit with no problem.
A:AnswerYou can set the temperature, but the default setting is 33 because it is a freezer. we're not using it as a fridge, but it does allow to change the temperature.
