“Does this tv work with rabbit ears and DVD,player? I am not able to get cable. I am renting. Will rabbit ears work with at least the main channels? Also, am I able to connect a DVD player to this tv? I am not very tech savvy.”

All I get is off air channels ( in HD ). In my area off air channels are pretty good. This tv has the standard RCA input jacks for DVD and a HDMI for up converted DVD or Bu-Ray.. i don't get cable or satellite as HD service is an extended level above basic service. I do use an outdoor antenna but if your apartment is second level or higher there should be no problem or if off air reception in your area is fairly reliable.
