I don't see why not. I live in Northeast PA and I have a radio in my un-heated garage that runs all year, I never turn it off. I would keep the TV inside when not in use to prevent moisture/corrosion problems later on. If you accidentally leave it in the garage, just take it inside for a couple of hours to warm up before use. If you're using it in a workshop (especially woodwork), I would be more concerned about the dust instead of the cold.
