“How can you switch between this and monitor when hooked up to computer? Is there another way to connect a computer besides vga?”

• I'm not sure what "this" is, but I use the 4 gray buttons at the top of the hand held controller to switch between desired inputs. HDMI is my computer monitor hook up. TV is my cable TV input. I don't use Video or Acc at this time. I tried powering the TV's on-board speakers but felt my old remote speakers had a much better sound. Good Luck
