- Answer Make sure your tv is muted or speakers set to off and select the speaker to I believe the "green" light setting.

QuestionWe purchased this and hooked it up with the digital optical cable but can't get sound through the bar. We know the bar works because it will bluetooth with our phones, just not the tv.

- Answer Connecting an external Receiver/Amp If your sound system has a SPDIF (optical) digital audio input you can connect it to the optical SPDIF OUT at the rear of the TV. This is active when receiving audio with the programs being viewed no matter what input is being used. 1. Turn off the power to the HDTV and Receiver/Amp. 2. Using an audio cable (optical cable), connect the cable to the audio input connectors on the Receiver/Amp and connect the other end to the SPDIF OUT audio optical connector at the rear of the LCD HDTV. 3. Turn on the power to the HDTV and Receiver/Amp. 4. Then press the MENU/OK button on the remote control to bring up the On-Screen Display (OSD) menu. 5. Press any navigation arrow button on the remote control to select the Audio menu. 6. Press MENU/OK button on the remote control to enter the Audio sub-menu. Press any navigation arrow button and select SPEAKERS. 7. Press MENU/OK button to select Off so that the sound from the TV will now be routed through your Receiver/Amp system. 8. Press EXIT key to exit the menu display. Note: • Refer to your Receiver/Amp user manual to select the corresponding audio input

- Answer My sound bar works fine. I have had no problem with the controls. It turns on and off automatically when my TV turns on or off. Occasionally, I have to manually turn it on, but that's only if I turn on an auxiliary device (DVD player, Media Player, etc.). Hope this helps.

- Answer I took the headphone/speaker out on the TV itself and no matter what goes into your television you'll have 2 amplifier stages to boost the sound beyond your listening limits.

- Answer I use it for my ipad. It works/sound,great however it will automatically shutoff if there is no audio activity after 15 minutes.

- Answer Sure, just be sure to have decent connectors. The RCA connectors did not work with my Samsung TV. Had to go back to get optical digital audio connectore

- Answer Probably NOT , since this device acts a Bluetooth RECIEVER not Transmitter such as a phone. the signal processed via this device is recieved through ONE OF TWO CABLE CONNECTIONS. RCA( analog ) OR DIGITAL OPTICAL .
