QuestionWhen I plug my m.2 SSD into the slot, it does not recognize the drive gives me a message "plug in drive [E:]". It powers up, sees the USB [E:], but it does not see content of drive. If I use a different (not m.2) SSD that has two slots, it works fine.

- Answer This is just the enclosure. You still need to buy the drive to put inside it. Once you insert a drive it will work for Xbox one external storage.

- Answer It's an hdd enclosure, which means you can slide a 2.5" hdd or ssd into it. Laptop size. I wouldnt recommend putting a hard drive or ssd into this enclosure to run games off of.

- Answer External drives are very much dependent on the speed of the drive. The USB speed is irrelevant. Most drives work at or near full speed with USB2, for example a decent 7200 RPM drive works at about 150 MBPS either internally or externally. You don't need gigabit speeds for an external drive...

- Answer I am using mine with a Samsung 870 QVO 2TB Internal 2.5” SATA III Solid State Drive. No problems with a Mac Mini. (Except it takes longer to power up from a cold start than the computer likes - so unless I keep it powered by using an external powered USB hub it doesn't like to boot the machine. I suspect this is related to the drive, not the enclosure.)
