Q: QuestionPurchased the enclosure....when I plugged in my WD 1.0TB drive I get NO POWER to the unit....as soon as I unplug the drive from the unit the power indicator lights up. Is this a unit issue or is my drive DEAD?
Asked by Jfisch.
- A:Answer I would say ur drive is dead. If u can, try to plug it directly into a PC data cable to see if it gets power then. Or an old Xbox 360 data transfer cable works if u have one of those. Seeing as how it gets power when u unplug ur drive I would say it def is ur drive tho.

Q: QuestionCan I put an SSD in this unit. Can I put an ssd in this unit or does it only take hard drives only?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Yes you can, however it only supports SATA II and is very slow. I would find something that supports SATA III. I cloned two HDD's to SSD's with it and it worked.
