• The serial # on this Insignia refrig. is very similar to the Samsung 21.1 Refrig. I'm guessing they are the same machine.

• asked the salesperson who sold us the Insignia refrigerator and was told that they are made in the United States, however, that could have been a sales pitch - did a search on the brand and could not find the answer so more than likely they are made by one of the few refrigerator manufacturers, hopefully still operating in the U.S. sorry I could not be more helpful
