Well first make sure it’s in a flat surface and all that second it’s an AC it’s sounds like a fridge kinda so yeah it’s loud.. I sleep with it next to my ear and I could sleep just fine tbh it just takes some time getting used to. It’s fairly easy since the sound is constant your brain just ignores it after a while just try giving it more time. No ac is 100% quite and this ac is in ur room so no all sounds is staying in the house unlike conventional Ac’s where they stick out the window and the Sound is outside
