A:AnswerMy bet is that they are shims for adjusting ther height of the left door. Unlike the GE french door refrigerators, there is not an adjustment screw on this one. My left door is not quite high enough to engage the pivot for the seal that is between the doors, so I am going to raise mine.

A:AnswerHi JR1177,
Thank you for taking the time to review our Insignia™ - 26.6 Cu. Ft. French Door Refrigerator - Stainless steel. I understand you found it uncomfortable to use since it is to dim and that can be discouraging. Upon checking on the manual there is no way to adjust the brightness/light on a refrigerator. We are continuously working on improving our products and their designs, so we definitely appreciate your feedback. If you have any questions or concerns, please use the link below to reach us and also you can contact this phone number 877-467-4289 for further assistance.

A:AnswerThe consensus among previous answers is Hisense. However, people who were in a store and able to ask an employee say they were told Whirlpool in some cases and LG in others. I sure hope it isn't Whirlpool because that could mean the coils are on the very bottom and will quickly start stirring dust and dog hair and stuff.
