• A:Answer Normally you could buy it on bestbuy.com or eBay, for $29.99. It is sold out, however. If this situation persists you can install an inline filter on the water line somewhere between the fridge and the water supply. They make those with replaceable filters. The replacements could be cheaper than these ones.

• A:Answer My bet is that they are shims for adjusting ther height of the left door. Unlike the GE french door refrigerators, there is not an adjustment screw on this one. My left door is not quite high enough to engage the pivot for the seal that is between the doors, so I am going to raise mine.
