- Answer It could work but the first thing you should do is test the speakers with something you know works, like a phone or tablet. connect the speakers and see if you get sound. After that, the splitter should work to get multiple sounds options to work.

- Answer This Y adapter is able to split The stereo signal to two separate devices. Your ear buds will still work in stereo however the fourth conductor auxiliary, For your EarPods should be the microphone, will not work. Hope this answers your question.

- Answer No, afraid not. When you connect this splitter into your lightning adapter your essentially shorting your third and forth connector together, rendering your microphone useless. Hope this helps.

QuestionIs this what I need to connect a lapel mic to my MacBook Pro so my MacBook Pro recognizes the mic as input. Since there is only a headphone port at the moment, this should achieve that. Am I correct about this item being what I need? Thanks!

- Answer This is a guess, but here goes. You say the Mac has only a headphone, output port. The BT device would work via the USB port, or you could also use a UsB hub to add extra devices. All of this depends on if your chosen mike is BT and can be connected via the Mac in settings. Research your Mac to see if BT can be recognized via UsB dongles

- Answer As long as everything is 3.5mm that should work. You are just splitting 1 signal into 4 parts.

- Answer If your desktop computer uses a single outlet for headset and mic, then this should work fine. I use my two lead headset/mic on a single outlet laptop, I don't see why it wouldn't work on a desktop so equipped.
