• Make sure you are inserting the DVD in the correct way. On ours, we have to put the DVD in with the label facing away from us, not towards us.

• I had that too. You have to insert the DVD with the title side facing towards the back of TV, recorded side facing you.

• I tried putting one in the first time and it did the same thing. Try putting the DVD in upside down. That worked for me.

• When you are inserting the disc into the TV, make sure the label of the DVD is facing the back of the TV. Make sure to try this with multiple DVDs as well.
